Handyman / Skilled Labourer

Deeside, Flintshire / £19.00 per hour / Immediate Start Available / Commercial New Build Project

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Handyman / Skilled Labourer to join a busy commercial construction project based in Deeside Industrial Park, Flintshire . This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor on a long-term new build development, offering competitive rates and a supportive site team.

The Role

As a Handyman, you will be carrying out a variety of finishing and maintenance tasks on site, working under the direction of the Site Manager. Duties will include:

• Basic joinery works
• Installation of skirting boards
• Patch plastering and making good
• Painting and decorating touch-ups
• General snagging and finishing tasks
• Assisting with first-fix and second-fix duties where required
• Completing additional skilled tasks as instructed by site management
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

• Previous experience as a Handyman or Skilled Labourer within construction
• Experience in basic joinery, patch plastering and painting
• Own basic hand and power tools
• Valid CSCS Card
• Full PPE (Hard Hat, Hi-Vis Vest and Safety Boots)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable and hardworking attitude

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 7:30am – 4:30pm
