Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-run automotive business located in the South Wiltshire region for the position of Vehicle Service Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor seeking a stable, long-term career within a respected independent service centre. The successful Service Advisor will play a crucial role at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient communication between customers and the workshop team.

Duties:

• Meet and greet customers at the Service Department front desk
• Coordinate with the workshop team to monitor work in progress and communicate updates to customers
• Schedule vehicle services, maintenance, and repairs
• Source and supply parts required by the workshop team
• Upsell additional services and products where appropriate
• Maintain a high standard of customer service through effective communication and organisation
• Keep accurate records of vehicle service history and customer interactions

Requirements:

• Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry
• Strong organisational skills and IT literacy
• Excellent communication skills to deliver outstanding customer service
• Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of South Wiltshire (e.g., Andover, Salisbury, Marlborough, Devizes)
• Ability to maintain a professional and proactive approach in a busy environment
