The Opportunity
A well-established and expanding engineering business is looking to add an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to its growing team, covering Telford and surrounding areas .
The position is predominantly focused on industrial and commercial refrigeration , with a particular emphasis on CO₂ refrigeration systems .
Engineers with Ammonia experience would be highly desirable, although this is not essential. The business is keen to speak with engineers who have a strong CO₂ background and are looking for the opportunity to broaden their technical knowledge and progress within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day work will include:

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
• Working on CO₂ refrigeration plant across a variety of customer sites.
• Attending reactive breakdowns and carrying out effective fault finding and diagnostics.
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Taking part in the on-call rota, currently 1 in 4 , with the expectation that this will improve as the team continues to grow.
• Ensuring every job is completed safely, efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

Skills & Experience
We're looking for an engineer who can demonstrate:

• Proven refrigeration service and maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience of CO₂ refrigeration .
• A valid F-Gas qualification .
• Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Ammonia experience and/or qualifications would be beneficial, but are not essential.
