Job Description

• Carrying out kitchen installations, replacements and planned maintenance within occupied Social Housing properties across Bedfordshire.
• Installing kitchen units, cupboards, worktops, sinks, taps and associated fittings to a high standard.
• Completing kitchen repairs, adjustments and replacements, ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards.
• Undertaking associated carpentry and general multi-trade repairs where required.
• Working alongside other trades to ensure kitchen installations are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.
• Providing excellent customer service to tenants, maintaining a professional approach and minimising disruption within occupied properties.
• Managing daily workloads effectively, maintaining tools and equipment, and following all relevant health and safety procedures.
• Liaising with supervisors and planners to deliver a reliable, high-quality service across the Bedfordshire area.

Skills / Qualifications

• Experienced Kitchen Fitter with a background in Social Housing, housing maintenance or property services.
• Relevant NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry and Joinery is desirable.
• Proven experience installing kitchen units, worktops, sinks and associated fittings.
• Competent in additional multi-trade repairs, including basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling and making good.
• Good understanding of health and safety requirements when working in occupied properties.
• Full UK Driving Licence essential for travelling across Bedfordshire.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship.
