Job Description

Carrying out kitchen installations, replacements and planned maintenance within occupied Social Housing properties across Bedfordshire.

Installing kitchen units, cupboards, worktops, sinks, taps and associated fittings to a high standard.

Completing kitchen repairs, adjustments and replacements, ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards.

Undertaking associated carpentry and general multi-trade repairs where required.

Working alongside other trades to ensure kitchen installations are completed efficiently and within agreed timescales.

Providing excellent customer service to tenants, maintaining a professional approach and minimising disruption within occupied properties.

Managing daily workloads effectively, maintaining tools and equipment, and following all relevant health and safety procedures.

Liaising with supervisors and planners to deliver a reliable, high-quality service across the Bedfordshire area.

Skills / Qualifications

Experienced Kitchen Fitter with a background in Social Housing, housing maintenance or property services.

Relevant NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry and Joinery is desirable.

Proven experience installing kitchen units, worktops, sinks and associated fittings.

Competent in additional multi-trade repairs, including basic plumbing, carpentry, tiling and making good.

Good understanding of health and safety requirements when working in occupied properties.

Full UK Driving Licence essential for travelling across Bedfordshire.

Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship.
