Salary: 50,000-60,000 + bonus, pension

Location: Hybrid Greater Manchester

An established consumer products business enjoying significant growth is looking for a commercially focused National Account Manager to join its expanding team.

Working closely with internal teams, you'll develop compelling customer proposals, build profitable account plans and unlock new opportunities across relevant retail channels.

The role

Manage and grow relationships with national retail customers.
Develop account plans that drive sales and improve profitability.
Identify and secure new business opportunities.
Lead commercial negotiations across pricing, promotions and trading terms.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver coordinated customer activity and high service standards.
Track account performance, produce accurate forecasts and capitalise on market opportunities.

About you

To succeed as a National Account Manager, you'll bring:

National account management experience within consumer products, with exposure to discounter, grocery or other relevant retail channels.
A proven ability to develop accounts and deliver strong commercial results.
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills.
Confidence analysing sales performance, forecasts and margins.
A proactive, organised approach, with the ability to balance competing priorities.
