The Role

As a HLTA, you'll play an important part in the daily life of the school, working alongside a fantastic team of teachers and support staff to deliver engaging and inspiring learning experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering planned lessons and providing whole-class cover across the primary age range.
• Supporting pupils to achieve their potential in a positive and nurturing environment.
• Leading engaging small-group activities and targeted interventions.
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff to maintain high standards of learning and behaviour.
• Encouraging confidence, independence and a genuine love of learning.
• Becoming a valued and trusted member of the wider school community.

• Qualified HLTAs who are confident leading classes and are looking for a welcoming school where their skills and experience will be appreciated.
• Qualified Teachers who love working with children but are seeking a better work-life balance and a role with less planning, marking and additional classroom responsibility.
• Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who would love the opportunity to develop their classroom management skills, gain valuable experience and build their confidence before taking on their own class.
