We are currently working with a welcoming and well-organised school in South London that is seeking an experienced School Administrator / Receptionist to join their office team on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous school office experience who is confident using school MIS systems such as SIMS or Arbor and communication platforms like ParentMail.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff at the school reception
• Managing the school switchboard and general enquiries
• Updating and maintaining student records using SIMS or Arbor
• Sending communications to parents using ParentMail
• Supporting with attendance records and pupil data
• Handling general administrative tasks within the school office
• Assisting the wider school office team where required

Requirements

• Previous school administration or school receptionist experience
• Strong working knowledge of SIMS or Arbor
• Experience using ParentMail or similar parent communication systems
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Friendly, professional, and confident dealing with parents and visitors
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
