Regional Sales Manager - South

Location: Home-based with regular travel across Southern UK (territory covering South Birmingham and below)
Base: hybrid/home-based
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join a leading manufacturer within the electrical distribution sector. This is a key role focused on driving sales growth across Southern UK, with a particular emphasis onMV/HV product applications (11kv +)
You'll take ownership of a well-established territory, managing key customer relationships and day-to-day management of incoming enquiries and tenders, whilst driving conversion rates. In additionyou will identify and develop new business opportunities and grow relationships.

Working closely with internal technical, tendering and customer service teams, you'll play a vital role in delivering ambitious sales targets and supporting long-term business growth.
The Role
Reporting into the Industrial Sales Team, you will:

• Manage and grow sales across an assigned Southern UK territory.
• Promote a comprehensive range of medium and high voltage electrical distribution products.
• Develop strategic relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Maximise opportunities within key accounts while identifying new business.
• Lead and support one Sales Engineer within the territory.
• Work collaboratively with Tendering, Technical and Customer Service teams to deliver outstanding customer solutions.
• Achieve and exceed sales, profitability and growth targets.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline activity.
• Travel throughout the UK as required, with occasional international travel.

About You
We're looking for a commercially driven sales professional who combines technical knowledge with excellent relationship-building skills.
Essential experience

• Proven success in technical field sales.
• Strong knowledge of MV/HV / 11kv+ electrical equipment.
• Experience working with or selling into DNOs, IDNOs, EPCsor related utility markets.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Based within the Southern UK region.
