Reed are delighted to be working with a forward thinking company who are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Sales, Customer Service & Business Development. This position is crucial for managing customer enquiries from initial contact through to sale and after-sales support, while also identifying and developing new business opportunities. The role combines excellent customer service with proactive sales and relationship management. The successful candidate will be confident in communicating with customers, understanding their requirements and developing new channels, partnerships and commercial relationships.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming customer enquiries via email, telephone, website and social media.
• Manage sales enquiries from initial contact through to quotation, order and completion.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products, services and solutions.
• Follow up on sales leads consistently and proactively.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, quotations and sales opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales through additional products, upgrades, accessories and services.
• Monitor outstanding quotations and follow up with potential customers.
• Manage customer queries, concerns and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Liaise with various teams to resolve customer issues and ensure orders progress smoothly.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities and potential customer groups.
• Research potential business partners, retailers, organisations and commercial opportunities.
• Arrange and participate in meetings, presentations, demonstrations and sales discussions.
• Monitor market activity and identify relevant opportunities and trends.
• Work closely with the marketing team to support sales campaigns and promotional activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Educated to GCSE level, degree level preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in sales, customer service, retail or a similar role.
• Experience within a technical, engineering or cycling environment is desirable.
• Knowledge or interest in bicycles or electric bikes is a plus.
• Persuasive and confident communication skills.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and able to build long-term customer relationships.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to meet targets under pressure.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
