Complex care Support worker

We are looking forexperienced and compassionate Complex Care Support Workers to join a dedicated 2:1 care team supporting an individual with significant complex care needs.

The individual hassevere cerebral palsy, developmental delay, chronic lung disease, tracheostomy, epilepsy and a gastrostomy . They are non-verbal, nil by mouth and require full moving and handling support, including wheelchair and P-Pod chair use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tracheostomy, airway and chest management
• Gastrostomy and medication support
• Epilepsy management
• Full moving and handling (2:1)
• Personal care and daily support
• Recognising and responding to non-verbal communication
• Following care plans and maintaining accurate records

Previous complex care experience is desirable , particularly experience with tracheostomy, PEG/gastrostomy, epilepsy and moving & handling. Full training will be provided where required.
