Senior Fire Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fire Engineer, to carry out routine servicing, maintenance, fault finding and repairs on a range of fire alarm systems . The role is field based, with visits to commercial, residential and construction sites within the M25 and mainly West London, ensuring systems are safe, compliant, and fully operational.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission addressable and conventional fire alarm systems in line with current standards and manufacturer requirements.
• Carry out advanced fault finding on complex systems, identifying root cause and corrective actions.
• Configure system logic, cause and effect programming, and networked panel arrangements.
• Produce accurate commissioning documentation and technical reports.

You will demonstrate:

• Proven experience in commissioning & fault-finding for complex fire alarm systems
• Strong technical understanding of systems, programming, and diagnostics
• The ability to mentor, support, and influence other engineers
• Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and professional communication
• A proactive, accountable mindset with a commitment to doing the job right first time
• Ideally a qualification in BS7671 but not essential
• Commissioning system experience
