Job Title: Site Manager

Contract Length: 12-month project
Rate: 450/day
IR35: Outside IR35
Location: Nottinghamshire

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day-to-day construction activities across the project.
• Work closely with the EPC Project Manager to deliver the construction programme.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, materials and resources.
• Oversee construction of solar PV, BESS and associated infrastructure.
• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and RAMS.
• Monitor quality, progress and site productivity.
• Lead site meetings, briefings and toolbox talks.
• Manage subcontractor QHSE compliance.
• Resolve site issues and coordinate with engineering, project management and HSE teams.
• Maintain site records, progress reports and construction documentation.
• Support inspections, testing, commissioning and handover.

SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS

• Previous Site Manager / Construction Manager experience.
• Experience on large-scale solar, renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong subcontractor and site team management experience.
• Good understanding of construction programmes, RAMS and H&S.
• Experience coordinating civils, electrical and mechanical works.
• Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience working on live construction sites.
• Full UK driving licence.

• CSCS
• First Aid

• Utility-scale solar experience.
• BESS experience.
• HV/electrical construction experience.
• Civils and groundworks experience.
• IOSH or NEBOSH.
• Temporary works experience.
