We are working with a leading engineering organisation seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development and lifecycle management of innovative products and systems within highly a regulated industry.
Job Description:
Deliver electrical and electronic design solutions for new and existing products
Produce technical documentation including specifications, test procedures and reports
Carry out engineering calculations and support product improvements
Review electrical drawings and ensure compliance with industry standards
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement and production
Support projects from concept through to field deployment and ongoing support
Requirements:
Degree-qualified in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
Proven electrical and electronic design experience
Strong engineering calculation and problem-solving skills
Experience with CAD/design software and engineering standards
Desirable:
Product design experience, particularly DC systems
PLM system experience
Marine, defence, offshore or other regulated industry experience
Familiarity with LR and DNV standards
