AC Engineer – Foot Mobile Engineer

Location: Central London – Zones 1 & 2
Salary: Circa £48,000 per annum , negotiable depending on experience
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Call-Out: 1 in 8 weeks
Overtime: Plenty of overtime and weekend opportunities available

We are currently recruiting for an experienced AC Engineer to join a well-established Facilities Management team, covering a portfolio of high-end residential properties and commercial office spaces across Central London .

This is a foot-mobile role , primarily covering Zones 1 and 2 , with the majority of the portfolio located around Marylebone .

The Role

As an AC Engineer, you will be responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning systems across approximately 15 buildings .

The role offers a varied workload, combining PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) with reactive repairs, fault finding and general servicing. You will be working across a high-quality portfolio of residential and commercial properties, providing a professional and reliable service to clients and building occupants.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on AC systems
• Attend reactive breakdowns and diagnose faults
• Complete servicing, repairs and general maintenance of air conditioning systems
• Fault find and identify issues efficiently
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests within agreed timescales
• Work across approximately 15 buildings throughout Zones 1 and 2
• Provide a professional service within high-end residential and commercial environments
• Participate in the 1-in-8-week call-out rota
• Undertake additional overtime and weekend work when required/available
• Ensure all works are completed safely and to a high standard

About You

We are looking for an experienced AC Engineer who is confident working independently and dealing directly with clients and building occupants.

Essential:

• Level 3 qualification in Air Conditioning/Refrigeration or an equivalent qualification
• Relevant experience as an AC Engineer
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience carrying out both PPM and reactive maintenance
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently while managing a varied workload
• Full right to work in the UK
