About the Role:

The Operations Administrator provides strong administrative support to ensure smooth operations, accurate documentation, and effective coordination across teams. This role focuses primarily on quote-to-order sales cycle administration, client account support, and assisting the Sales and Operations team with day-to-day activities.

Whilst this could be an ideal job for a business graduate, with exposure to various Operational tasks, we encourage CV's from candidates with similar work experience in Sales Support or Technical Sales Administration. MOST IMPORTANT to the role is the ability to learn our products for solution quoting and good work processes. The company operates ISO procedures and is aligned to advancing AI in the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide day-to-day, quote to sales support, to the Sales Team
• Administrative support to the Operations Manager (ad hoc)
• Maintain databases and reports on the CRM system with high accuracy
• Generate quotes and deal with email comms and order enquiries with stakeholders
• Make calls to stakeholder, both internal and external (clients, suppliers) to check progress of equipment or parts
• Booking in and processing returned equipment, ensuring credits posted
• Liaising with Sales, Logistics, Production, Warehouse, and Engineers for relevant information to service customer requirements
• Review engineer delivery notes to highlight further actions required
• Gain an understanding of, and provide administrative support for, ISO accreditation and sustainability requirements
• Maintain accurate digital/physical filing systems, including version control for key documents
• Ad hoc administrative tasks to assist the Operations Manager as required

The right candidate MUST have:

• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work to deadline
• Professional, proactive, and confidential approach to work
• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook -alongside any CRM system (Salesforce, Hubspot etc). Sage CRM is a plus.

Candidates should live within a reasonable commute of our office in Elstree, Hertfordshire.This is an office-based role only.
