HR Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join a busy HR team based in Hemel Hempstead, supporting a large, multi-site workforce. The successful candidate will join a growing HR team based out of Hemel Hempstead, working closely with HR Business Partners and Employee Relations specialists who support multiple sites across the region. Description

Reporting to the Regional HR Business Partner, the HR Coordinator will be based in Hemel Hempstead and provide comprehensive administrative support across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing HR administration from onboarding through to offboarding.
• Preparing contracts, employee correspondence, and HR documentation.
• Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring data integrity within HR systems.
• Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries and escalating matters where appropriate.
• Supporting probation reviews, absence management processes, benefits administration, and other people processes.
• Coordinating onboarding activities, including documentation, compliance checks, and system setup.
• Monitoring shared HR inboxes and responding to employee and manager enquiries.
• Assisting with HR reporting, audits, and compliance activities.
• Supporting HR Business Partners and Employee Relations teams with projects and operational activity.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and ways of working.
• This role offers a blend of shared-services style HR administration and regional HR support, working with stakeholders across multiple sites while being primarily based in Hemel Hempstead. The position will suit someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their workload, and is comfortable working within a high-volume environment.

Profile

The successful candidate will have previous HR administration experience and be comfortable working within a busy, high-volume environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

You may have experience in:

• HR Administration
• HR Shared Services
• HR Coordination
• People Administration
• Recruitment Administration
• Employee Lifecycle Administration

Experience gained within operational environments such as logistics, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, retail, transport, or other blue-collar workforces would be highly advantageous.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Previous experience within an HR administrative or HR support role.

• Experience using HR systems and maintaining employee data.
