Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Factory Cleaner to join a busy site in Dunkeswell, near Honiton, Devon .

This is a stable cleaning role offering an immediate start, a four-day working week and a genuine temporary-to-permanent opportunity. Own transport is essential due to the rural location and lack of public transport.

What We Offer

• 14.50 per hour basic rate.
• 21.75 per hour overtime rate after 38 hours.
• Four-day working week.
• Monday to Thursday, 6am-4pm.
• Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.
• 28 days' paid annual leave, pro-rata for PAYE and including statutory holidays.

Key Duties

• Clean factory and communal areas.
• Sweep, dust mop and damp mop floors.
• Clean toilets and other facilities.
• Empty bins and remove waste.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Work independently while being part of a supportive team.

Requirements

• Own transport is essential due to the rural location and lack of public transport.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work independently.
• Good attention to detail.
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
