Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Counterbalance FLT Driver / Production Operative to join a busy food business in Dunkeswell, near Honiton .

This is a varied, hands-on night shift role, with forklift driving making up around 15% of the working day . There are generally two FLT drivers on duty, so you will be expected to work wherever needed across the production operation.

Training will be provided on day shifts, 6am-4pm.

Key Duties

• Drive a Counterbalance FLT when required.
• Build pallets and move stock.
• Wash IBCs.
• Complete paperwork and checks.
• Move stock and raw materials in and out of the unit.
• Support production and the wider team with other duties as required.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and housekeeping.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Recent FLT experience.
• Excellent attention to detail - essential in a food business.
• Flexible, reliable and willing to get involved across the operation.
• Own transport is essential due to the location.
