Daily Rate: 100 per day, rising to 124 per day after 12 qualifying working weeks
SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting a Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hackney from September. This full-time role is available for the full academic year and offers the opportunity to support children at a crucial stage of their learning and development within a well-established Early Years team.

Role Summary
As a Reception Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher and Early Years team to support children's learning, development and wellbeing throughout the school day.

Key Responsibilities

• Support children across the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
• Work with individuals, small groups and the whole class
• Promote children's communication, language and social development
• Support learning through structured play and practical activities
• Encourage independence, confidence and positive relationships
• Contribute to outdoor learning activities and child-led exploration
• Assist with classroom organisation, routines and transitions
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment

Candidate Requirements
The successful candidate will:

• Have experience supporting children within an Early Years or Reception setting
• Be patient, caring and committed to helping young children succeed
• Demonstrate a good understanding of child development and learning through play
• Be confident supporting children both indoors and outdoors
• Have strong communication and teamwork skills
• Be reliable and able to commit to a full-time position for the academic year
• Be enthusiastic about supporting children's confidence, wellbeing and independence

Pay and Progression
The role offers a daily rate of 100 per day , increasing to 124 per day after 12 qualifying working weeks . Progression to the higher rate reflects successful performance in the role, relevant Early Years experience, and the ability to effectively support learning and development within the classroom.
