Fire & Security Project Engineer (Custodial)

Protec Fire and Security Group, a Bosch Company, have an opportunity for a Project Engineer (Custodial).

The position of Project Engineer is to work on and assist with the day to day project management of a new Fire Detection and Alarm Systems Project within a New Build Prison environment. With a sound knowledge and previous experience in the industry, you will ensure efficient delivery and installation of challenging, fast paced Custodial projects.

Responsibilities:-

• Ability to handle projects from enquiry to completion.
• Ability to manage a construction programme and report accordingly.
• To effectively manage the installation works on site whilst liaising with both sub-contractors and clients.
• Undertaking of relevant H & S duties ie safe starts, tool box talks etc.
• Liaise with manufacturing, design and other relevant departments to ensure timely delivery.
• Ability to highlight any problem areas ensuring they are effectively communicated to the relevant parties.
• Ensuring compliance with codes, practices, and specifications.
• To complete Quality Assurance documentation ensuring works are of the appropriate standard and report snags to sub-contractors.
• Ability to delegate tasks to team members.
• Willingness to learn and undertake commercial responsibilities on projects.
