Senior AI Engineer

Overview

In this role you will apply AI-first software engineering to help clients innovate and transform. You join a Digital & Data team that collaborates with product, design, and other experts to turn ideas into software solutions. You’ll work across diverse projects, solving complex problems with agile practices and cross-functional teams. Your work will involve exploring generative AI tools, building scalable systems, and sharing learnings within our AI community. This is a hands-on role with a meaningful impact on client outcomes and technology strategy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams to deliver software solutions for clients and internal projects
• Problem-solve with technical skills during client engagements and internal work
• Participate in whiteboarding sessions and teamwork to brainstorm and prototype
• Contribute to knowledge sharing, coaching, and mentoring within the tech community
• Work in a hybrid setup, with time on client sites and in offices as required

Key requirements

• Software engineers with a passion for AI or data scientists who have embraced engineering
• Experiment and prototype with emerging AI tools in their own time
• Proficiency in a programming language suited for AI systems and data workflows
• Experience integrating models with APIs, data sources, or production systems
• Curiosity about LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agent frameworks
• Understanding of cloud-native environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps/DevSecOps
• Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and teach
• Understanding of prompt/context engineering and model evaluation
• Solid grasp of distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of LLMOps tools for GenAI workflows
