Civil Design Engineer (Drainage)

Overview

In this role you will deliver drainage design for residential and commercial schemes in Ireland, ensuring compliance with client requirements. You will work remotely as part of a design team, supporting civil infrastructure projects from concept through to detailed design. You’ll apply UK, Irish and European codes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality outputs. Responsibilities

• Produce drainage designs for residential and commercial projects in Ireland
• Ensure designs meet Client requirements and applicable codes
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver project outputs
• Prepare technical drawings and documentation for approval
• Work remotely and maintain clear communication with stakeholders

Key requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in design of civil projects including roads and drainage
• BEng (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of UK, Irish and European codes
• Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Civils 3D and/or similar civil design software
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Must be eligible to work in the UK
