AI Engineer, Trading Ops & Management

Overview

In this hybrid role, you will drive the evolution of trading infrastructure by combining operations, risk monitoring, and AI-focused development. You will implement agentic AI workflows to automate manual processes, enhance predictive risk models, and create real-time performance visuals. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity across trading systems and finance ledgers. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape the firm’s digital transformation and AI-enabled workflow in a high‑intensity trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end trades across multi-asset classes and automate manual operations and reconciliations using AI/ML workflows
• Perform daily P&L attribution and explain variance through market moves, Greeks, and activity; develop intelligent agents for anomaly detection and automated P&L commentary
• Ensure data integrity across trading systems, middle-office platforms, and downstream ledgers; build reporting and analyses on trading performance
• Develop real-time, AI-driven risk models and maintain risk reporting dashboards for the desk
• Leverage AI tools to create digital tooling for performance analyses and ad hoc business analytics

Key requirements

• 3+ years in front-office operations, quant development, or risk management within a financial institution
• Expert proficiency in Python (AI/ML) and strong SQL skills
• Experience building agentic AI workflows is a significant advantage
• Good understanding of P&L attribution, financial controls, market risk indicators (Greeks, VaR), and financial markets/products
• Systems-thinking approach to automation of manual tasks
• Ability to thrive in high-intensity environments with extended hours when necessary
