As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design and develop HTS magnet systems, focusing on mechanical and structural integrity from concept to testing. You will work within the TE Magnetics team to simulate and validate magnet assemblies, ensuring reliable performance in high-field, cryogenic environments. You will collaborate with test engineers and multidisciplinary teams to translate simulations into manufacturable designs and contribute to the STEP fusion programme. This role offers the chance to impact cutting-edge fusion technology and industrial HTS applications, through hands-on modelling, prototyping, and validation.
