Responsibilities
Project manage fire engineering projects with the team
Guide building design aspirations and architectural form through the design process
Engage in client care and general consultancy on projects
Oversee financial performance, invoicing and monitoring of projects
Represent the Fire Engineering team at design meetings internally and externally
Identify and specify appropriate fixed fire protection systems (detection/suppression)
Perform and review fire engineering calculations including smoke modelling and evacuation analysis (from simple to 3D CFD when needed)
Key requirements
Demonstrable professional experience delivering fire and life safety designs for UK-based projects
Track record of obtaining agreement for prescriptive and performance-based solutions from authorities
