In this role you will provide geotechnical expertise for subsea cable projects in the offshore renewables sector. You will lead CBRA work and support route engineering, burial assessments, and trenching design to optimise installation and asset protection. You’ll evaluate seabed conditions and geotechnical risks while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver robust, cost-effective solutions. Responsibilities
Lead and undertake Cable Burial Risk Assessments (CBRA)
Support subsea cable route engineering, burial assessments and trenching design
Evaluate seabed conditions, soil properties and geotechnical risks
Develop recommendations to optimise cable installation, burial depth and asset protection
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust solutions
Key requirements
Strong background in geotechnical engineering with subsea cables and offshore project experience
Experience in CBRA
Strong analytical, technical report writing and communication of complex concepts
Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK
