Sr Associate / Legal Director - Construction Disputes

Responsibilities

• Advise on adjudication, litigation, arbitration and other dispute resolution methods in construction and engineering matters
• Handle construction disputes across multiple sectors
• Manage project-related risk and dispute avoidance
• Develop business through client relationships and networking
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers
• Contribute to the growth and success of the team

Key requirements

• Significant experience in contentious construction matters
• Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
• Experience in adjudication, litigation and/or arbitration
• Understanding of ADR and dispute resolution strategies
• Strong client relationship and business development skills
• Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members
• Excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills
