Mobile Fabric Engineer

Overview

In this Mobile Fabric Engineer role, you deliver on-site facilities support across Mitie’s client sites in the LN & PE postcodes. You perform building fabric tasks and repairs while upholding high safety and compliance standards. You work closely with clients to report defects and update site activity during visits. This role is ideal for hands-on maintenance professionals who want broad impact across multiple sites and a clear progression path within Mitie.

Responsibilities

• Undertake building fabric activities, including patch repairs, minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating
• Maintain high health and safety standards and statutory compliance
• Answer queries, report defects, and keep clients informed during service visits

Key requirements

• Full, current driving license
• Background in facilities or mobile maintenance in a construction or similar environment
• Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds
