As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will lead the design and delivery of electrical building services within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities
Produce reports, specifications, calculations, and detailed electrical designs within a multidisciplinary project team
Develop compliant electrical building services solutions using CAD and BIM, including Revit where applicable
Perform electrical design calculations ensuring alignment with client requirements and standards
Conduct site surveys, inspections, defect assessments, and witness testing
Review construction design information and provide technical feedback
Liaise with architects, structural engineers, surveyors, contractors, and other stakeholders
Attend project meetings and contribute to technical discussions throughout design and construction
Ensure designs comply with legislation, regulations, and health and safety requirements
Advise clients on energy efficiency, sustainability, and carbon reduction strategies in building design
Key requirements
Experience delivering electrical building services designs from concept to completion
Strong understanding of RIBA work stages and industry guidance, including BSRIA BG6
Proficiency in electrical design calculations using Amtech, Trimble ProDesign, or equivalent
Experience producing technical reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Revit experience would be advantageous but not essential
