Multi Skilled Engineer - Mechanical Bias

Overview

In this role you will keep production lines running smoothly at the Ambrosia Creamery, supporting reliable operation of food processing, filling, and packing equipment. You will work within a collaborative engineering team to diagnose faults, perform planned and reactive maintenance, and drive improvements in reliability. The position offers training and development within Premier Foods and a rotating 4 on/4 off shift pattern. You will contribute to a safe, high-performing manufacturing environment and help deliver iconic products to customers. Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and prevent equipment faults to minimise downtime
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across process, filling and packing machinery
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe, high-performing environment

Key requirements

• Qualified time-served mechanical bias multi-skilled engineer (NVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent)
• Proactive and flexible with rotating shift pattern
• Familiarity with process and packaging plant (desirable)
