Senior EC&I Engineer

Overview

As a Senior EC&I Engineer at Assystem, you will support the EC&I RE and Area Engineering Manager to deliver design work for nuclear projects. You will produce design work packages and ensure compliance with legal, functional, and performance requirements within time, cost, and quality targets. The role combines technical execution with collaboration across teams in a regulated, safety-critical environment. You will contribute to a leader in nuclear decommissioning and benefit from hybrid work and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support EC&I RE and Area Engineering Manager in design delivery
• Produce engineering design work packages (specification, drawing, analysis, verification, or assessment)
• Ensure requirements and performance conditions are met to time, cost, and quality constraints

Key requirements

• Proven experience in building electrical services design
• Proficiency in CDM Regulation application
• Expertise in space management, cable routing, and cable management
• Strong team player with ability to work independently under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Degree in a relevant discipline
