In this role you will broaden your actuarial skills across pricing and reserving while working closely with underwriters, finance and senior stakeholders. You’ll support underwriting strategy, portfolio management and capital planning in a business-facing environment. Expect to impact portfolio profitability and reserve adequacy across specialist and commercial lines. This is a mixed, development-focused opportunity at a respected global insurer, offering broad exposure and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
Deliver pricing analyses to support underwriting and portfolio management
Contribute to quarterly reserving reviews and reserve adequacy assessments
Work on portfolio performance monitoring and profitability analysis
Support business planning, capital modelling and wider actuarial projects
Build relationships with stakeholders across the syndicate
Key requirements
Nearly or newly qualified actuary
London Market, Lloyd's or general insurance experience
Exposure to either pricing or reserving, with an interest in developing across both
