In Cambridge, you will own RF design decisions for high-performance hardware from specification to production. You’ll lead RF/mmWave circuit and subsystem development, balancing electrical performance with manufacturability, yield, and cost. Collaborating with mechanical, electronics, PCB, and test teams, you review designs, mitigate risks, and guide production. Your work shapes hardware strategy and cross-functional design reviews, with hands-on influence over implementation and measurement.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of RF and mmWave circuits, modules and subsystems from spec through production
Own simulation, implementation, verification and design reviews
Select components and MMICs, review designs, troubleshoot during product introduction
Manage tolerance, yield, reliability, and cost considerations in design choices
Collaborate with mechanical, electronics, PCB layout, manufacturing and test teams
Guide other engineers and improve design development, review, and release processes
Translate measurement and design problems into practical engineering solutions
Key requirements
Significant RF, microwave or mmWave circuit or system design experience with a relevant degree or equivalent expertise
Proficiency with RF and EM simulation tools (ADS, Microwave Office, CST, EMPro)
Strong understanding of system line-up analysis, tolerance/yield analysis, and design for manufacture
Proven ability to lead technical work, mentor others, and troubleshoot to practical solutions
Experience designing transceivers, amplifiers, filters or integrated RF modules (desirable)
