In this role you will drive quality across the Completions & Transitions team on the HS2 project, ensuring works comply with information and design requirements. You will coordinate site inspections, manage non-conformances, and support the Quality Manager while collaborating with the client and supply chain. The role blends on-site verification with documentation control to safeguard right-first-time delivery. You will work within a safety- and quality-focused culture that aims for continual improvement and zero accidents.

Responsibilities
Proactively prevent substandard works by coaching and training site teams
Prioritise quality management in delivery to achieve right-first-time outcomes
Communicate QA requirements to delivery teams and subcontractors
Inspect works during progress and on completion to ensure alignment with Work Information and documentation
Manage and report non-conformances to the Quality Manager
Conduct formal surveillances to verify inspections and tests follow plans and Safe Systems of Work, ensuring timely documentation
Ensure delivery teams notify HS2 or Supervisor of intervention points
Provide support and holiday cover to the Quality Manager
Adhere to SCSJV Core Values and implement Client and JV sustainability and environmental policies
Key requirements
Managed quality on a relevant project
Experience in a quality-related role on a major infrastructure project
Experience in civil engineering projects
Computer competence (MS Word, Excel)
Relevant CSCS Card
On-site quality training
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems
