Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain embedded C++ for real-time, mission-critical systems
Contribute to safety-regulated environments following high-integrity practices
Develop and integrate low-level software components and system interfaces
Support unit, integration, and system testing for deterministic behavior
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate software into complex platforms
Produce clear, traceable technical documentation for regulated environments
Key requirements
Strong embedded C++ experience (C++11/14/17+)
Experience delivering software in defence, safety-critical, or regulated environments
Understanding of real-time constraints and deterministic behaviour
Experience with verification, validation, and requirements traceability
Familiarity with configuration management and lifecycle tooling
Strong debugging/problem-solving in complex systems
Clear and confident communicator across multi-disciplinary teams
Detail-oriented, quality-driven mindset
Strong ownership of technical delivery and accountability
