Site Manager

Overview

Site Manager role on two refurbishment projects in Bath, starting Monday 12 October for around 2–3 weeks per site. You will report to the main contractor and oversee internal refurbishments on one site and slightly more structural works on the other. You’ll drive site safety, coordinate trades, monitor progress and quality, and ensure the works meet programme and client expectations. This role offers hands-on exposure to fast-paced refurbishment delivery with a clear impact on project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations on refurbishment projects
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades to maintain programme and quality
• Enforce health & safety, site rules, and compliance (CSCS SMSTS First Aid Fire Marshall Asbestos Awareness)
• Monitor progress, quality, and variations; report to main contractor
• Liaise with client, designers, and site teams to resolve issues
• Maintain accurate documentation, permits, and daily logs
