Responsibilities

Lead strategic cost planning with robust pre-tender estimates and design option evaluation
Deliver financial reporting to support project and client decisions
Shape project budgets with subcontractors and internal teams
Support contract negotiations to achieve favorable commercial terms
Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions to protect profitability

Key requirements

Relevant degree or equivalent experience in quantity surveying or related discipline
Professional membership or accreditation (e.g., RICS) advantageous but not essential
Strong knowledge of building and construction practices
Experience with Ministry of Defence (MOD) contracts
Proficiency in NEC3 or NEC4 contract frameworks
Background in project management
Specialism in Civils, Building, Mechanical or Commercial
