Responsibilities

• Lead strategic cost planning with robust pre-tender estimates and design option evaluation
• Deliver financial reporting to support project and client decisions
• Shape project budgets with subcontractors and internal teams
• Support contract negotiations to achieve favorable commercial terms
• Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions to protect profitability

Key requirements

• Relevant degree or equivalent experience in quantity surveying or related discipline
• Professional membership or accreditation (e.g., RICS) advantageous but not essential
• Strong knowledge of building and construction practices
• Experience with Ministry of Defence (MOD) contracts
• Proficiency in NEC3 or NEC4 contract frameworks
• Background in project management
• Specialism in Civils, Building, Mechanical or Commercial
• Drive to own and shape career development
