Account Manager OC - Scotland/North Ireland

Overview

In this role you drive growth for Convatec's Ostomy Care portfolio across Scotland/North Ireland by partnering with NHS clinical stakeholders. You will translate customer insights into value-based solutions, expand market share, and strengthen advocacy through education and collaboration. You operate in a field-based environment, travel across the territory, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver better patient outcomes. This is a people-centric, impact-driven opportunity within a global medical devices company.

Responsibilities

• Grow sales and market share across the territory and meet sales targets
• Develop and execute account plans with NHS stakeholders
• Build strong relationships with NHS clinical stakeholders
• Create value-based solutions using customer data
• Grow advocacy for Convatec’s Ostomy Care portfolio and promote Amcare as a DAC provider
• Identify customer needs across the stoma patient pathway
• Build relationships with Ostomy patient associations
• Support patient and HCP education initiatives
• Attend relevant customer events and conferences
• Maintain accurate CRM activity and business reporting

Key requirements

• 2+ years of medical device sales experience (ideally 4+)
• Experience selling into the NHS
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Experience engaging with clinical stakeholders
• Strong consultative and value-based selling skills
• Data-driven and commercially focused mindset
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong relationship-building and influencing capabilities
• Confidence working independently and cross-functionally
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
• Proactive, adaptable and hands-on approach
• Good digital skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM tools
• Full driving licence
