Overview

Surveyor role in Cushman & Wakefield’s City Office Valuation team in London. You will contribute to valuations of City of London office space and support advisory work for banks, institutions and investors. The role offers exposure to a leading global real estate advisory business and the chance to develop valuation expertise with experienced professionals. You will work on varied valuation instructions, collaborate across teams, and build strong client relationships. This position suits a commercially minded professional looking to deepen City office market knowledge and valuation skills.

Responsibilities

Undertake valuations of office buildings and space across the City of London
Assist with valuations for secured lending, financial reporting, acquisitions, disposals and strategic purposes
Prepare investment valuations, cash flows and development appraisals
Research and analyse office rental, investment and transactional evidence
Develop understanding of the City office market incl. rents, yields, transactions and trends
Support senior team on larger/complex valuation instructions
Prepare valuation reports and supporting documentation
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Support pitches and wider business development activity
Collaborate with colleagues across Valuation & Advisory and wider Cushman & Wakefield

Key requirements

MRICS qualified or working towards qualification
Experience within commercial property, ideally with exposure to office valuation
Understanding of investment valuations and/or development appraisals
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Good Excel skills and confidence with financial information
Excellent attention to detail and report writing skills
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to manage multiple instructions and meet deadlines
Genuine interest in the London office market
Previous office valuation experience beneficial but not essential
