Overview

In this Senior Surveyor role within Cushman & Wakefield’s Valuation & Advisory team, you will lead valuations and provide strategic guidance on residential development sites across the UK. You will manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to business development while delivering valuation reports and development appraisals. This position sits within a global platform and offers exposure to high-profile development projects and leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuations of residential development sites in accordance with RICS standards
• Prepare detailed reports for loan security, financial reporting, and development appraisals
• Undertake residual land valuations and viability assessments
• Analyse market trends including sales values, build costs, and planning considerations
• Manage client relationships and take a lead role in instructions
• Support and mentor junior team members
• Contribute to business development and winning new work

Key requirements

• Degree in Real Estate or related discipline
• MRICS qualified (MRICS)
• Strong experience in residential development valuation
• Advanced financial modelling and appraisal skills
• Proven client-facing and project management experience
• Strong knowledge of the UK residential development market
