As Trading Manager, you will lead a store-wide trading routine to maximise product availability, run smooth promotions, and ensure safe, compliant trading. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll develop your team, focus on customer experience, and collaborate across store departments to meet targets. This role offers progression through Morrisons Leadership School and a chance to influence in-store operations at scale. You will drive practical, hands-on leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities
Lead and support a team to deliver high standards of product availability and customer experience
Plan and manage shift rotas, attendance, and talent development; deliver training for cross-department flexibility
Drive performance by guiding colleagues to meet operational and sales targets
Coordinate daily store routines and resource planning; build strong cross-department relationships
Plan promotions and act on customer feedback to maintain standards
Ensure safety, legal compliance, and adherence to operational standards across the store
Key requirements
Experience leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced retail environment
Confident to step up as Manager in Charge when required
Ability to run shifts and manage daily trading priorities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Customer-focused mindset and calm handling of daily challenges
