Overview

In this Trading Manager role, you lead a fast-paced trading team to ensure strong product availability, smooth promotions, and compliant, safe store operations. You report to the Store Manager and coordinate cross-department collaboration to deliver outstanding customer experiences. You drive performance, stock accuracy, and process discipline while managing shifts and talent development. This is a hands-on role that shapes store-wide trading routines and supports the store’s mission to serve millions of customers weekly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a fast-paced trading team, managing shifts and daily trading priorities
• Plan and manage shift rotas, attendance, and talent development; deliver training for flexible cross-department work
• Drive performance and stock availability; guide colleagues to meet operational and sales targets
• Plan resources and routines; build strong relationships with other store departments
• Plan promotions and act on customer feedback to maintain high standards
• Ensure safety, legality and readiness for trade across aisles and operations
