QA Auditor (Red Nights 3223 18:00pm-06:00am)

Overview

As a Quality Auditor at Greencore, you will audit and improve quality systems across site operations, ensuring GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards are met. You’ll collaborate with production teams to identify root causes, drive corrective actions, and support product trials and investigations. This hands-on role combines technical support with data-driven improvements to protect quality across the site. You’ll work in a fast-moving manufacturing environment that values safety, continuous improvement, and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Audit compliance with QMS, GMP, and HACCP and drive corrective actions to closure
• Identify root causes and reduce repeat non-conformances via an inquisitive audit approach
• Conduct traceability audits and present findings clearly
• Complete sampling activities including microbiological, nutritional, swabs, and organoleptic testing
• Prepare and trend taste panels and escalate out-of-specification results
• Calibrate factory measurement equipment and manage out-of-tolerance actions
• Support investigations into complaints and incidents through audits and data analysis
• Support NPD trials and product launches including testing and shelf-life assessment
• Provide day-to-day technical support to factory teams, audits, and customer visits
• Contribute to Technical KPI delivery through audits and proactive improvements
• Promote health, safety, and environmental standards at all times

Key requirements

• Strong understanding of quality systems, GMP, HACCP, and traceability in manufacturing
