Multi-Skilled Engineer - Electrical Bias

Overview

In this role you will deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems to support contract performance. You will work with site teams to meet SLAs and KPIs, maintain service records, and oversee contractor activities to ensure safety and quality. The position involves on-site coordination, callout response, and contributing to overall efficiency and profitability. This is a mobile role covering East Anglia, with opportunities for professional development within a large, award-winning facilities management company.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across M&E and building fabric systems
• Ensure all delegated reactive works orders and PPMs are completed within contract-defined SLAs & KPIs
• Contribute to efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability through diligent service delivery
• Complete service sheets and update site compliance logbooks
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, monitoring workmanship and standards
• Support the site supervisor with integrated service delivery ensuring works are on time, within budget and to required quality
• Provide callout response for the client as per rota

Key requirements

• NVQ or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services with proven maintenance experience
• Current, valid driving licence
• Sound knowledge of safety documentation and site safety procedures
• CSCS Skills card or equivalent qualification
• Understanding of First Aid
• IT literate with basic Excel & Microsoft products

• Maintenance and fault-finding across M&E/building fabric
• Safety documentation and compliance
• Basic IT skills incl. Excel
• Contractor supervision and coordination
