In this role, you will lead the disputes practice in Birmingham and the Midlands, shaping strategy and driving high-value commercial litigation for a diverse client base. Responsibilities

• Lead and expand the commercial litigation practice in Birmingham and the Midlands
• Advise on complex contractual, shareholder and partnership disputes, professional negligence, fraud and asset recovery
• Drive business development and strengthen market presence across existing and new clients
• Develop and nurture client relationships and cross-referral opportunities
• Provide leadership and team management to a growing disputes team
• Shape the direction of the disputes practice in collaboration with the partnership
• Leverage cross-practice collaboration to enhance client service and growth opportunities

Key requirements

• Strong technical expertise across a broad range of commercial disputes
• Experience acting for corporate clients and business owners
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining client relationships
• Demonstrable business development experience and commercial awareness
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Ambition to grow and shape a successful disputes practice
• Portable following is advantageous but not required
