Senior Associate - Civils (Infrastructure)

Overview

As an Associate / Senior Associate, you will lead the Civil Infrastructure team in Northampton, guiding projects from inception through delivery. You will collaborate with senior leaders to shape regional and national infrastructure strategies and mentor junior engineers. The role combines client-facing delivery with team leadership, contributing to Midlands expansion and broader growth. You’ll work on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and help deliver quality, coordinated solutions that advance the firm’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Civil Infrastructure team from concept to completion
• Advise on delivery of regional and national infrastructure projects
• Contribute to Midlands leadership and strategic direction
• Collaborate with senior team and wider business to deliver key projects
• Mentor and guide junior colleagues across the Civil Engineering team
• Develop and progress your own career within a varied and challenging role

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in civil engineering or similar
• CEng or IEng professional qualification
• Focused on coordinated solutions and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in infrastructure design across lifecycle (concept to detailed design and delivery)
• High likelihood of highway design and on-site supervision experience (advantageous)
• Proven track record delivering projects with clients across technical disciplines
• Experience mentoring and managing junior team workloads
• Skills with Civils 3D, MicroDrainage and utility coordination (advantageous)
