Senior Associate Civils

Overview

In this role you will lead the Civil Infrastructure team in Northampton and drive expansion across the Midlands. You’ll oversee projects from inception to delivery, advising on regional and national infrastructure schemes such as urban extensions, logistics parks and regeneration. You’ll contribute to the Midlands leadership direction and collaborate with senior colleagues to secure important client-ready outcomes. Mentoring junior engineers and coordinating across disciplines are key to enabling high-quality, cross-functional delivery. This is an opportunity to shape projects and teams in a growing practice with a clear impact on regional infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Civil Infrastructure team from inception to completion
• Advise on delivery of regional and national infrastructure projects
• Collaborate with the Midlands leadership team to shape future direction
• Work with senior team and broader business to deliver client projects
• Mentor, guide and develop junior colleagues across the Civil Engineering team

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in civil engineering or similar
• Professional qualification to CEng or IEng
• Proven ability to deliver multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects across lifecycle
• Strong communication with internal and external parties (utilities, drainage, highways)
• Experience in infrastructure design from concept to detailed design and delivery
• Highway design and on-site supervision experience preferred
• Mentoring and workload management of junior team members
• Experience with Civils 3D, MicroDrainage and utility coordination is advantageous
