Associate Electrical Engineer to lead a small MEP design team within a Chelmsford-based consultancy. You will guide projects across feasibility, construction and post-occupancy, delivering expert electrical designs for education, commercial and healthcare sectors. The role combines technical leadership with client relationship management and a degree of business acumen to run the department with minimal supervision. Responsibilities
Manage a team of 4 MEP Design engineers
Provide expert advice and designs to clients on live projects
Maintain client relationships in a front-facing role
Apply business acumen to manage the department with minimal supervision
Lead projects, prepare fee bids, mentor engineers and oversee from feasibility to post-occupancy
Key requirements
At least 8 years experience in MEP Design and Sustainability within a consultancy
Experience on education and commercial sector projects
